Second week of PGM!

Hello Folks!

What an awesome opening week for Palouse Grown Market! The Vendors had such an array of colorful, fresh products, and the Members were diggin’ it! Thank you for supporting PGM with your orders!
The drop-point was lovely at the 1912 Center’s Outdoor Terrace with the sun shining after a few stormy days, and there are such wonderful, friendly, hard-working Vendors gracing us with their presence if there’s anything you forgot to order through PGM! It was a great time! I’m already excited for what next week will bring.

PGM is open as of this morning, until late Sunday night, so, enjoy!

Thank you,

Holly

Come check it out, and get fresh local foods straight from the farmer mid-week!
Have a great Sunday,

First week PGM will be open for orders...

Happy Thursday,

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that May 27-31 will be PGM’s first week for taking orders! The Market will be open Wednesday morning until late Sunday night. The market closes for Monday and Tuesdays as “harvest days”. This will be the consistent schedule for PGM.

The first pick-up day will be Tuesday, June 2nd. Vendors can drop off their wares at the 1912 Center between 2-3:30, and Members can pick-up from 4-6:30!

Soon I will be sending out Vendor packets and contacting the current vendors via phone to see if there are any questions or concerns I can address.

Many thanks,

Holly
Market Manager

The Market is Opening June 2nd!

Hello all,

May has been treating us very well so far, how awesome!

I am very pleased to finally say…
1) Palouse Grown Market officially has been granted the beautiful and centrally-located 1912 Center terrace as the drop off & pick up location on Tuesdays. Vendor drop off will be from 2-3:30, and Member pick up will be from 4-6:30. 2) This location will also be the new home of the Co-Op’s Tuesday Grower’s Market and thus will also provide a festive and Community-oriented weekly event. 3) By having PGM at the same location as the Co-Op’s Tuesday Market, we will be able to utilize Back Yard Harvest’s EBT benefits for our members!

I will soon be sending out Vendor Packets and details about the opening day. Please feel free to email (palousegrownmarket@gmail.com) or call me (509.868.5596), Holly, with any questions.

I thank you for the patience and support you’ve given Palouse Grown Market as it spreads it’s young wings for a second season.

Very excited,

Holly

Spring is near, and so is the opening of Palouse Grown Market!

It’s another sunny day here on the Palouse….in March. I know I’m feeling the impending Spring, the need to plant something in the ground, the desire to start planning camping trips, and the excitement of bringing Palouse Grown Market back to the community! I have been working with diverse members of the community to talk about partnerships, how to grow this market, and what is desired for this season. I still have more to do and more lovely people to speak with, but things are moving along wonderfully. What a great community we have. It’s apparent to me that the Palouse is excited and supportive of this local, online market, and I’m excited for it to support small farms and entrepreneurs, and for another outlet for fresh local foods and products!

Thank you for showing PGM some love and providing amazing food and products for this community.
The market is here, for YOU!

More finely-tuned details to follow….

Restoring and Reconnecting in 2015

Warm greetings to the Farmers, Producers, Artisans, Ranchers, Crafters, Eaters and local-product Consumers of the Palouse region!

My name is Holly, I am on a mission to Restore and Reconnect Palouse Grown Market to our community and region.
(Thank you to the Sutherland Family for originating this wonderful market!)

Palouse Grown Market’s purpose is to create an online marketplace of locally grown/created items, services and products and make them readily and easily available for purchase.
You can make a profile as a “grower” (a.k.a. seller) and display, market and sell your items, or you can be a “member” (a.k.a buyer) and build a shopping cart full of locally grown/produced items, or, both!

Palouse Grown Market is here for the community to showcase the amazing wealth of local Palouse goodness!

More information will be sprouting up as the cultivation process continues….

Provisions Local Supply Co.

Hello!

We are Provisions Local Supply Co.¬¬- an online, mobile farmers market (previously known as Palouse Grown Market) . We appreciate local farmers and foodstuffs and we know you do too! We believe farmers and local producers are the backbone of this community and we want one thing- more locally produced food and goods in the hands of the people around us. We hope to make it easy for families, home-cooks and restaurants to procure local items.

Good food is our passion.

We currently also own PRLR Mobile Woodfired Cookery- a mobile pizza oven and catering company and use as many local items as possible to make our visions a reality. We are two best friends who set out on a culinary journey looking to inspire passion about food.

We are looking to expand the availability of items for purchase on our website within the next year and hope you’ll follow along in our journey. For now you can reach us through the current Palouse Grown Market website or at 208-310-5109. We’ll be as communicative as possible as we move forward and we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we’re open for business!
